Sean McManus - When speaking of Canada’s grappling greats, Misha Cirkunov’s name is staking its’ place amongst the cream of the crop.  Although Misha doesn’t hold a belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he hangs with and has dominated some of the biggest names in the game.  The 22 year old phenom was born in Latvia and made his way to Canada when he was 13 years old.  He acquired his black belt in Judo when he was only 16 years of age.  Misha then began to wrestle and study the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under the head instruction of Sam Zakula under the Tap Star banner.
